COMPETITION GAME FEES
PLAYER / TEAM GAME FEES ARE AVAILABLE ON EACH OF THE RELEVANT WEB PAGES AS WELL AS BELOW
Junior Competition Game Fee Payment:

All junior competition fees will be collected as a per player payment. There are 4 main reasons that we collect per player payments:

-
Allows school aged players to take full advantage of the ACTIVE KIDS REBATE
-
Game night staff can focus attention on supervising the courts, rather than collecting fees.
-
Team coaches/managers will not need to collect game fees each week.
-
If players in your team do not turn up for their game, other players are not left paying higher game fees to take the floor.

Senior Competitions Game Fee Payment:

In 2021 MBA is now collecting all senior social game fees up front. To assist teams make the transition, we are offering 3 payment options for teams:

2021 WINTER COMP PRICING

-
Full Up Front Payment - $1120 for full competition (due on 1st night of competition - 1st or 2nd March)
-
2 instalments = 2 x $560 instalments due 1st March & 1st April
-
4 instalments = 4 x $280 instalments due 1st March, 1st April, 1st May, 1st Jun
SUMMARY OF KEY COMPETITION BY-LAWS :
FORFEITS
With teams paying up front, we would expect there to be far fewer forfeits (see fill in players below), however if you cannot field a team, it is essential that you notify MBA as early as possible (not later than 12 noon on the day of the game).
An un-notified forfeit (no show or called in after 12 midday on the day of the game) will result in a forfeit fine of $80 (senior) and $60 (junior) per game forfeited with late or no notification.

Please note that with up front game payments for all competitions, it is possible to utilise fill in players in almost all situations, and we would expect that a team should be able to field enough players to complete a game in all situations.

FILL-IN PLAYERS
The rules for fill in players will not be affected by this rule, as long as all team members have paid their game fees for the competition. Please note that fill in players must be a registered member.

MBA will continue working to improve the quality of services we offer to our members. If you have any questions or feedback regarding the details above, please do not hesitate to contact us on (02) 9154 4310
